Fellowship Criteria

ELIGIBILITY

The ClimateCAP Fellowship is open to currently enrolled, full-time MBA students. Applicants must be enrolled in an MBA program for the entire fellowship year of January-December 2025. (Justified exceptions, such as one-year MBAs or non-traditional academic calendars will be considered). The program is open to students simultaneously enrolled in a dual-degree program, as long as one of those degrees is an MBA.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

As many students use their MBA to switch careers, there is no expectation that ClimateCAP fellows have professional experience in climate change or related industries, although it is welcome.  ClimateCAP Fellows should be interested in using their MBA to become the next generation of climate leaders and changemakers.

LOCATION

All elements will be virtual with the exception of the ClimateCAP Summit on Feb 28- Mar 1, 2025, in Berkeley, CA.  Students from any geography are able to apply, but program events will take place during US daytime hours.

LANGUAGE

A strong command of the English language is essential to successfully participating in the program.

COHORT COMPOSITION

The composition of the cohort is expected to model diversity in terms of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, geography, school, perspectives, and professional background. Twelve students will be selected for each cohort, annually.
