Fellowship Structure

The 2026 Fellowship will run from January to December 2026.  Key elements of the Fellowship will include learning & development sessions, networking, and self-directed project work, where students will design and implement a climate action project.

The Fellowship is designed with the schedule of a full-time MBA student in mind.  Fellows can expect learning and cohort experiences during the Spring semester (January through April), a period of sustained independent work with fewer meetings in the summer (June through August), and then a renewed level of project work, feedback, and final presentations in the Fall semester (September through December).

Fellows are invited to attend social, learning, and development events approximately 1 hour per month during the school year. Time estimates of climate-action project work are 2-4 hours a week during the school year and 1-2 hour a week during the summer. Detailed information on the climate-action project and expectations can be found on the application page.

All elements of the Fellowship are virtual, except for the ClimateCAP MBA Summit. Fellows are expected to purchase a ticket for and travel to the Summit on April 17 & 18, 2026, at MIT Sloan.
